Ankur is a Designer, Educator and an Improv Coach.
An alum of the National Institute of Design and College of Business Studies, Ankur has been a Design practioner for the last 19 years. He has led teams and worked with Amazon, Samsung, OLX, Honeywell & Philips in the past. Currently, he heads Design & Research for Tata Digital. He is an awarded designer with a knack for innovation [4 patents (2 each in US and India), and designs displayed at Samsung Museum in Suwon, Korea.]
As an educator, he has been a visiting faculty and workshop facitilator at NID, Ashoka University, MIT ID, IIITD and Avantika University with courses like – Design Process, Storytelling in Design, Design Research & Systems Design.
With deep interest in theatre and storytelling, he enrolled himself in ‘Improvisational Theatre’ or ‘Improv’ at The Unexpected Productions, Seattle & Magnet Theatre, NY. He founded Nautankibaaz Improv Collective in 2017 at Gurugram. He has coached over a 1000 students and professionals in ‘Improv Toolkit’ over the years and performed in more than 120 shows across the country.
